What We Believe

Our Mission
To help seekers and believers become fully devoted followers of Jesus.

What do you mean? By this, we mean that we would exemplify the character and activities that the early church possessed as written of in Acts 2:42-47.

Our Purpose Statement
We at Coquitlam Alliance will worship God by loving Him and those around us. We will reach out to people, invite them into God’s family, equip them to be like Jesus, and send them out to serve in their community and around the world.

Our Beliefs
Our Statement of Faith and Core Values, all of our beliefs about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the church etc. can be downloaded HERE (PDF).

Baptism
At Coquitlam Alliance Church we value the importance of water baptism and what it symbolizes for every believer.  It is a significant milestone in every Christian’s life, and something that can be shared and witnessed by friends and loved ones. Baptisms take place during our Celebration Weekend Services where we simply celebrate what God is doing in and through His people at CAC, as we have our church membership and child dedications at this time as well.

We believe that Baptism is a step of obedience for the believer, as Jesus himself was baptised, and a declaration to the seen and unseen world that we will follow Jesus until and after the day of His return.  If you are considering being baptized we strongly encourage you to go through the information about baptism on this page as well as get in contact with Matt Johnson at matt@cachurch.ca to help answer any questions you may have in regards to baptism.

Upcoming Celebration Service dates:
May 11/12, fall dates to come
