Description	The Life of Christ is a course offered by Coquitlam Alliance Church. This course is designed to cover five questions: first, what is Jesus’ historical and religious background and why is that important for understanding him? Second, what prompted Jesus to begin his public ministry? What did his baptism, the voice from heaven, the descent of the dove and the temptations mean for Jesus? Third, what was the central message that Jesus believed he was called to proclaim? Fourth, why did Jesus die? What did Jesus think his death would accomplish? Finally, we will consider the question of Christology. In what sense is Jesus God? By looking at each of these questions in order, we will see Jesus as we have never seen him before. And he will challenge us deeply in our discipleship.
